[Kohaku finally wakes up outside the village, to the north. She sat up and looked around, wondering why everything was so green and full of life.  This isn't Quartia, is it?!  Maybe she was back in Celirand...?  She looked around some more, trying to see anything that was familiar to her.  This is when she realized her Soma, Elrond, was missing. Also, her clothes were missing and she was wearing some kind of... dress?  Finally wide awake, Kohaku panicked a bit and wondered where the others were. What's going on here?!

Sooo... Kohaku tries to hold back her panic for the moment and gets up, and is slightly embarrassed that she's suddenly in some kind of mysterious dress and tries to push away the urge of teaching whoever made her like this a lesson.  Then, feeling something behind her, she peeks over her shoulder and sees... wings.

She pushed all these strange thoughts away and tried getting over the fact she just saw a pair of wings.  Was this a dream or something?!  She hoped the others were alright, thinking of them gave her some strength to move forward and find out what was going on.  She hoped to see someone, or familiar face, soon.  She needed some answers!  

All right then.  Kohaku is walking towards the village now.  She's to the north of it and she can see a river off in the distance, to her left.  Oh and she's near the path leading to the village.  She's in search of anyone that could help her find the others, find her soma, clothes and maybe explain some things!]

[After an unseasonably cold day followed by nearly 100 hours of intensifying snow (yes, he was counting), a morning finally dawns clear and mild. Not knowing how many more days like this he might have, Donatello isn't wasting the opportunity. He does, however, acquiesce to the weather as far as putting on his heated snowsuit before he goes out.]

[So, New Feather. As you wander lost in this strange world, you find yourself approached by a giant bipedal turtle almost totally enveloped in a bulky purple-and-black garment.]

[Welcome to Luceti.]

[Whoooaa, it's snowing! Kohaku had no problem with the snow. She grew up in an icy, isolated mountain village after all!

Continuing on, she sees a... giant turtle? At least that's what it looked like to Kohaku as she approached. He sure looked like he was keeping warm though! Hmm, is he a friend? An enemy?]

U-um... excuse me?

[The hood of the snowsuit interferes with Don's peripheral vision, so Kohaku actually manages to take him by surprise. He turns as she approaches, pulling down his scarf so he can talk.]

Yes?

[Then he notices her dress: either she's just arrived, or she's very used to cold weather. (Or, you know, both.)]

_{[Whoa! He does look like a turtle! Oh noes, she notices she may have surprised Donatello.]}

Oh, I'm sorry. Did I startle you?

_{[She was going to start asking questions, but Donatello continued and stated that she was... new?]}

H-huh? New? What do you mean by that?

_{[Kohaku paused to think for a moment.]}

This really is a different world then...?

It's all right. This is a dimensional nexus. Our village - [He points towards where the actual village is.] - is called Luceti. A few hundred people, all pulled here from their own worlds. There may be someone you know. [He folds his hands behind his head.] New arrivals are a regular occurrence. You'll have plenty of company.

[She quietly listens to his explanation.] ...I see. So this is a village made of people that are taken from their own worlds? That doesn't sound right though! Wh-why...

Thank you for explaining... Um, oh! I haven't introduced myself yet. [She smiles] My name is Kohaku Hearts. It's nice to meet you, and thanks again for explaining. I-I wonder if there really is someone I know here? Are your friends here too?

It's a long story. You'd probably rather hear it someplace warmer.

[He turns and starts walking towards the village.] Donatello Hamato. [He smiles sadly.] Mine come and go. I might know yours, if you don't mind telling me their names.

All right. I'm fine with anything, though. It's not that cold out here! [She started to walk alongside Donatello.] Oh... Sorry to hear that. I hope you will be able to see your friends again soon. ...Wait, did you say they come and go?! You can leave this place?

[She smiles, trying to stay positive] My friends names? Well there's my brother Hisui, Richea, Beryl, Innes, Kunzite and... Shing.

[Not that cold, huh?]

People do leave, but it happens randomly. We don't really know what causes it.

[He thinks.] Sorry, I don't think I've heard any of those names here. We have another Kohaku, though. Any chance you know her?

[coldsnaps]

[And someone is nearby the river. It was one of his favorite places to be after all, even though it was cold. Okay, more like freezing.]

_{[Luckily she came across another person that may be able to help her out here! Now she's gonna run over and start asking questions. She approaches the young man by the river.]}
Oh, excuse me, sir?

[He turns around.]

Well... I was wondering if you have seen something that kind of looks like a bracelet? It's blue and has something that looks like a red gem on it, two smaller red ones and two blue ones on each side of the big red one. It's my Soma and it's very important.

[coldsnaps]

[...Nope, not familiar.]

I apologize, but I have not seen anything of the sort. Perhaps it is in one of the shops.

That is usually what happens to the belongings of new arrivals.

[At least, he's judging from the New Feather clothing/dress.]

[She gives a slight nod.] Yes... I just woke up over there. [She points in the direction she had come from before turning back to him.] Oh, my name is Kohaku Hearts! Nice to meet you.

[Claude happens to be crossing the bridge over that particular river when he catches a glimpse of Kohaku in the distance. Judging by her attire, she must be new here, and she seems to be looking for something, too, so he calls out to her.]

Hey! Did you just get here?

Yes, I think so. My name is Kohaku Hearts.
Oh, and I'm looking for my Soma! Have you seen it? It looks like a blue bracelet.

[He smiles at her greeting, and decides to jog over to meet her.]

It's nice to meet you! My name's Claude. I can't say I've seen anything like that, but if you're new here, I think I might know where to find it.

Nice to meet you, Claude! [She smiles.] Wow really?! That would be a huge help... Thank you. Um.. Well I met someone earlier and they said it may be in the shops?

Yep, that's probably where we'll find it. [It looks like someone already beat him to that part, but it's okay! There's still other ways that he can help out in.] Do you want me to show you the way?

[She smiles at how friendly her new friend is. He reminded her of a certain someone... Suddenly she remembered something else that was also important. She was embarrassed, but had to ask someone.]

U-um, Claude... Would my clothes be at the shop too?!

They should be. [He doesn't seem weirded out by her question or anything. This kind of thing was all too normal here.] If we can't find them, we'll just have to find something else for you to wear.

[He takes a step back toward the plaza. At least it wasn't far.]

O-oh, that's fine. This dress is such a pain! [Ah, good. That wasn't a weird question!]

[She follows him towards the plaza, curiously looking around along the way.]
